Robotic Forging Automation Cell

Our mission was to transform a manual, high-repetition bottleneck in the forging process into a fully automated robotic cell. The project involved the strategic overhaul of existing ABB 6400 robots and the integration of new units to handle heavy loads under extreme heat.

From modeling process in Delmia to mechanical design in Catia, every step was calculated to ensure precision. We successfully engineered the transition from manual labor to automation.

• Custom Gripper Design: Engineered specifically to handle red-hot parts without deformation.
• Extreme Environment: Overcoming issues with graphite spraying and sensor durability in high heat.
• Safety Integration: Implementing protocols for robot proximity to induction heating furnaces.
• Legacy Overhaul: Reviving and reprogramming older robotic units to work seamlessly with new tech.
